Baking Soda

An easy way to clean items stuck on stainless steel pan, using baking soda as a scrubbing aid.  Be careful on the outside of the product it may affect the finish.

Cinnamon

To freshen the air, use a cinammon stick! Boil a pan of water, add a cinnamon stick and let it simmer of the stove.  Being careful not to leave the pan unattended or the water to run to low.

Hydrogen Peroxide

As a cleaner: need to remove mold or mildew, just put hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle and use.  Spray on the spot and then leave it alone for about an hour, then wipe the area with a clean cloth.

Lemon juice

Mix two to three tablespoons of lemon juice into a small bowl with a few drips of olive oil and rub it gently in to the wood.  If you are unsure of using this you can always try it in a small hidden space.  The lemon juice breaks up dirt, and then pulls it out of othe wood, while the oil lubricates teh wood so it doesn’t dry out.

Rubber Tree Plants

It’s large leaves act like a magnet to attract dust and allergens, so you won’t have to breathe them in.  (Studies show that rooms with house plants have a 20% fewer allergens.)

Romance

If you have in your life someone who is allergic to soy, than if you are using candles, take a look and see if they are soy candles and consider replacing them with beeswas candles.
